The stunning " leaning tower '' has made Pisa a well-known destination in every part of the globe. Built in 1173, we still do not know with certainty the name of the architect who was commissioned to complete the work of the imposing tower with a circular base and a total height of 57 meters. For many years, until the recent works, the project was attributed to Vasari, but more likely the tower was built by Bonanno Pisano. A few steps away, you can admire the imposing Cathedral and the Baptistery. Along the perimeter of the square you will also find the Camposanto and the Museo Dell'Opera del Duomo.
